Read Our Google ReviewsHow to Choose Your Wedding Dress Rental in Singapore
You’re looking for wedding dress rental in Singapore and you have a rough idea of what you want — but turning that idea into a specific dress is where most brides get stuck. This guide is here to help you walk into your fitting with clarity, so you spend less time guessing and more time finding the one.
Start With Your Wedding Style, Not the Dress
The most common mistake brides make is starting with a Pinterest board of dresses they love — without considering whether those dresses fit their actual wedding. A cathedral-trained gown is breathtaking in a grand ballroom. In an intimate restaurant private dining setting, it can feel overwhelming.
Before your fitting, ask yourself:
- Where is your wedding? Ballroom, restaurant, outdoor, intimate solemnisation?
- What’s the vibe? Formal and traditional, or modern and relaxed?
- How many looks do you need? One dress for the whole day, or separate looks for the ceremony and dinner?
Once you know the answers, your style category becomes much clearer — and your fitting becomes productive rather than overwhelming.
Which Wedding Dress Style Is Right for You?
Floral: If you’re drawn to delicate details, botanical lace, and dresses that feel romantic and feminine, our Floral collection is your starting point. Gowns like Clara and Vera suit outdoor ceremonies, garden settings, and brides who want their dress to feel alive with texture.
Ethereal: If you want a grand entrance — a dress with presence — look at Ethereal. Cathedral trains, floaty fabrics, and silhouettes designed to fill a room. Best suited to ballroom dinners and formal ceremonies where the scale of the dress matches the scale of the space.
Minimalist: If you believe the bride should shine, not the dress, Minimalist is your collection. Clean lines, structured cuts, and understated elegance that photograph beautifully and age even better. Works for every venue type.
Evening: Designed for the wedding dinner rather than the ceremony, our Evening gowns are showstopping, polished, and built for the spotlight. If you’re renting two dresses — one for the ceremony and a different look for the dinner — Evening is the natural choice for your second dress.
Not sure which style suits you? That’s exactly what our free private fitting is for. Come in, try all four collections, and let the right dress show itself.
Book your free fitting todayShould I Rent One Wedding Dress or Two?
Most Singapore weddings have at least two distinct moments — the gate ceremony or solemnisation, and the wedding dinner or banquet. Many brides choose a softer, more romantic dress for the ceremony and a bolder, more glamorous look for the dinner.
Our Classic Duo package at S$1,480 covers two dresses including alterations and dry cleaning on both — working out to S$740 per dress all-in. For brides with a full-day programme including a tea ceremony, our Trilogy at S$2,080 covers three looks completely.
If you’re also wearing a Kua for your tea ceremony, you can add that at S$100 — keeping your entire wedding day wardrobe organised under one roof.
What Happens at a Wedding Dress Fitting at Gown & Bridal?
Your fitting at Gown & Bridal is private and appointment-only — the studio is yours for the duration of your slot. Bring whoever matters most to you: your mum, your bridesmaids, your fiancé. There’s no crowd, no background noise, and no one else’s opinion competing with yours.
During the fitting, you’ll try on dresses from whichever collections interest you. There’s no pressure to decide immediately — you can book a second visit if you want to come back with fresh eyes. When you’re ready to reserve, we handle the alterations and have your dress ready and fitting perfectly before your wedding day.
How Far in Advance Should I Book?
For wedding dress rental in Singapore, we recommend booking your fitting 3–6 months before your wedding date. Popular dresses — especially from our Floral and Ethereal collections — are reserved well in advance, particularly for weddings on auspicious dates in peak season (January–March and October–December). The earlier you visit, the more options you have.
