When comparing prices between boutiques, always check what’s included. A S$600 package that adds S$200 for alterations and S$120 for dry cleaning is S$920. Our S$780 package has nothing extra added on top.

This varies significantly by boutique, so it’s worth being specific. At Gown & Bridal, every rental package includes:
- The gown itself — rental for your wedding date
- Basic alterations — hemming, taking in the waist, adjusting straps
- Dry cleaning after the wedding — no extra charge
- Private fitting session — appointment-only, no other brides present
What’s not included: major structural alterations (e.g. re-boning a corset, full re-lining), accessories, and add-on services like Kua rental (available separately at S$100).
How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Bridal Gown Rental?
In Singapore, the busiest wedding seasons are the auspicious dates in January–March and October–December. During these periods, boutiques book up fast. We recommend booking your bridal gown rental at least 3–6 months before your wedding date, and 6–9 months if your wedding falls on an auspicious date in peak season.
Booking early also gives you more gown options — popular styles like our Evelyn and Vera gowns are often reserved months in advance. The earlier you visit, the more choice you have.
Can I Rent More Than One Gown?
Yes — and many Singapore brides do. Our Classic Duo (S$1,480) covers two gowns, which is ideal for brides who want a different look for their actual day ceremony versus their wedding dinner. Our Trilogy package (S$2,080) covers three gowns for brides with a full-day programme including gate games, tea ceremony, and evening banquet.
If you’re also planning a Kua for your tea ceremony, we can add that separately at S$100 — making Gown & Bridal a genuine one-stop shop for your entire wedding day wardrobe.
What Should I Wear to a Bridal Gown Fitting?
Wear smooth, seamless underwear in a neutral colour, and bring along any specific shoes or heels you’re planning to wear on the day (or shoes with a similar heel height). If you’re planning a specific hairstyle — half up, full updo — it helps to roughly replicate it during the fitting so we can check how the neckline and back of the gown will look.
Our fittings are relaxed and pressure-free. You don’t need to know what you want before you arrive — that’s what the fitting is for.
